About

The Orthodox Church stands on a foundational principle: when the saints speak with one voice, their consensus is the authentic voice of the Church. It is the method that gave us the Nicene Creed, defeated ancient heresies, and preserved the fullness of the faith for 2,000 years.

Yet today, this collective witness is often ignored, dismissed, or explained away.

Our goal is to make the actual teachings of the Fathers accessible and clear. We are here to amplify their unanimous voice in an age of confusion.

The Problem: Optional Saints

In many modern contexts, the Holy Fathers are treated like optional advisors. Their life-altering teachings are filed under "nice suggestions," "monastic extremism," or "outdated opinions."

Saints' Teaching Contemporary Orthodox Christians
In times of plague, run to the Church for healing."In times of pandemic, stay away from church for safety."
The path to salvation is narrow."That teaching feels too judgmental; we need to be more welcoming."
Praise strongly those who desire to live by exactitude."Don't be a rigorist zealot, you're dividing the church."
If wicked in faith, flee him, even if an angel."Just be obedient to your priest, even if it seems wrong."

This is a modern inversion of patristic wisdom. Every Ecumenical Council ratified truth by demonstrating its agreement with the saints who came before them, beginning their declarations with the phrase, "Following the Holy Fathers..." Today, the pattern is often reversed, with contemporary convenience taking precedence while the Fathers gather dust.

What We Publish

The Saints' Agreement

When multiple saints across centuries teach the same thing, we document it. This isn't cherry-picking; it's how the Church has always discerned truth.

Direct Sources

The saints' own words without editorial spin. When they speak clearly, they don't need our interpretation.

Contemporary Witnesses

Modern Orthodox teachers who still follow the ancient pattern, teaching what the saints taught, not what's currently popular.

Ongoing Research

Systematic documentation of what the saints actually said about contemporary challenges facing Orthodox Christians.

Our Method: Witness, Not Opinion

The saints do not determine truth in the sense of creating it. They bear witness to it. They are its custodians and reflectors.

Agreement is the Key

One saint may offer a personal opinion (a theologoumenon). But when dozens of recognized saints across centuries, cultures, and continents teach the same doctrine, that is no longer opinion. It is the testimony of the Holy Spirit, speaking through His proven vessels.

Hard Medicine Still Works

The saints didn't soften their words for comfort. They taught that following Christ demands everything from us. When their words sound extreme today, the problem isn't with them. The narrow path is, in fact, narrow.

Why This Matters

The consensus of the saints is the Church's safeguard against error and innovation. To ignore it is to reject the very methodology that has protected the faith since the time of the Apostles.

When the Church's method for discerning truth is attacked as "fundamentalism," the door is opened for compromise. Every watered-down teaching and accommodation to the spirit of the age leads souls away from the path the saints marked out. Without their collective witness, Orthodoxy risks becoming whatever the loudest contemporary voice declares it to be.

Our mission is to amplify this timeless voice, preserving the path that actually saves. When the saints speak together, we listen.
